Our Devices
Currently, we have three different types of monitoring devices available: Blood Pressure Cuff, Weight Scale, and Glucose Meter. The remote patient monitoring devices we use are ready the moment they arrive at the patient’s location and offer a more user-friendly approach than many of our competitors.
Blood Pressure Cuffs
Conditions used for: Hypertension, Coronary Heart disease, Heart Failure, COPD, Renal Failure, Diabetes
A blood pressure test monitors the pressure in your arteries as your heart pumps. You might have a blood pressure test as a part of a routine doctor’s appointment or as a screening for high blood pressure. Some people use a blood pressure test at home to better track their heart health.
Weight Scales
Conditions used for: Obesity, Renal Failure, Pulmonary Edema
A weight scale is a device that is placed on the floor, and after being turned on, the patient steps on it, and then waits for the reading. Some devices also offer readings such as BMI (body mass index).
Glucose Meter
Conditions used for: Diabetes, Renal Failure, Hypoglycemia, Liver Disorders
Glucose meters/ monitors, also known as biosensors, are used to monitor a patient’s blood sugar levels. They work by analyzing a small amount of blood resulting from a fingertip being lightly pricked.
Oximeter
Conditions used for: Asthma, COPD, COVID-19
Pulse oximetry is a test that measures the oxygen level (also known as saturation) in the blood. This test measures how well oxygen is being sent to other parts of the body- such as vital organs and extremities furthest from your heart.
